Bombs ripped through the Algerian prime minister's office and a police station today in co-ordinated terror attacks that Algerian authorities said killed at least 23 people and wounded more than 160.

At least 17 people were killed in two bomb attacks in Algeria today, one targeting the prime minister’s office and the other a police station.

A large explosion occurred near the prime minister’s office in the capital of Algeria today, and at least one man with head injuries was seen being led away.
