Aer Lingus Regional has reported growth in passenger numbers for the 17th consecutive month.

Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, last week flew its five millionth passenger since the commencement of its franchise flying partnership with Aer Lingus in March 2010.

Stobart Air, which operates the Aer Lingus Regional brand, is set to resume services from Shannon Airport from June.
