White Desert, the only luxury travel experience in Antarctica, have launched White Desert World offering an extraordinary fully carbon-offset adventure — an epic 21-day journey taking in 10 destinations across all seven continents.
Well-heeled travellers will go from Mexico City to Colombia, Easter Island, Fiji, Borneo, India, Turkey, Namibia, and South Africa before the journey finishes in Antarctica.
Flights are in a private, bespoke Boeing 757-200 designed with 50 lie-flat seats. White Desert has been carbon neutral since 2007 and has committed to utilising sustainable aviation fuel for the final leg of the journey — from Cape Town to Antarctica and back.

US Customs and Border Protection has launched a new mobile application, which allows eligible travellers to apply for an ESTA on their smartphone, mobile device, or tablet.
The app allows you to scan your passport, confirm your identity, answer eligibility questions, and review and submit your application.
Available in 24 languages, it serves travellers in all 41 Visa Waiver Programme countries, including Ireland, where citizens are permitted to travel to the US for business or tourism and stay up to 90 days without a visa.
Once approved, your ESTA is valid for two years or until your passport expires.
