This October Bank Holiday weekend, Dublin is to summon the supernatural as Bram Stoker Festival presents four days of living stories and four nights of adventures in venues across the city from October 28 to 31.

The festival, a Dublin City Council and Fáilte Ireland initiative, has highlights including Nightmare Plants, an eerie immersive performance at Botanic Gardens and more.

The four-star Hotel Kilkenny will be just one of hundreds throughout the country this Halloween, but the fun won’t be confined to a ghost tour on a two-night family stay that is priced from €370 for two adults and two children.

The deal also includes a family pass to the Kilkenny Hurling Experience and there are options to visit the KBowl, the National Reptile Zoo or Dunmore Caves.

Sunway, Irish agents for AmaWaterways, has announced reduced price packages for a seven-night river cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium on March 30, 2017.

Tourism Northern Ireland is inviting holidaymakers all over Ireland to add the North to their list of ‘must see’ short break and holiday destinations with the launch of a new Autumn publicity campaign aimed specifically at the Irish market.

The Say Hello To More campaign highlights the many things to do in Northern Ireland, including all the obvious attractions and some that are not as generally well-known.

A bespoke website has been created with full details as well as a host of special short break offers under each theme.
