Singles go for a stroll

VALENTINE’S Day isn’t all about chocolates and romantic meals out, especially for the many singles out there.

For those on the look, Footfalls Walking Holidays have put together a special singles walking festival which takes place in the couple of days before the big occasion, Saturday and Sunday, February 12 and 13.

The weekend starts off with a welcome champagne breakfast in the Wicklow Heather restaurant before a leisurely walk through Ballard Forest, around Trooperstown Hill and down to the scenic Vale of Clara in time for lunch on the banks of the Avonmore River.
