- British Airways’ has launched a new service that will also benefit the thousands of Irish passengers travelling with the airline around the globe.

The airline has invested €120 million in its flagship brand drawing on its rich heritage to create an exclusive experience based on classic design and understated opulence in first class.

The new key features include a 60% wider bed at the shoulders, personal wardrobe, personal electronic blinds, a first for a commercial airline, a 15 inch entertainment screen, USB port, RCA jack and noise-reducing headsets, fully integrated mood lighting and leather bound writing table.
