Expanded Asian appeal

MIDLETON-based Discover Travel has launched its largest brochure for south-east Asia, updated to include Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The 84-page brochure has properties in Chiang Rai, Koh Phangan, Koh Chang and Krabi in Thailand, Sapa and Dalat in Vietnam, Pangkor Laut, Redang Island, Tioman Island and Sabah in Malaysia, Phnom Peng in Cambodia and Sentosa Island in Singapore.

The company, headed by Brendan Barry, received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Malaysian Tourist Board for promoting Malaysia as a destination. This year, Malaysia is celebrating 50 years of nationhood and promises to be an exciting holiday destination.

* TOPFLIGHT has included Bulgaria, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Cyprus, the Algarve, and Spain’s Costa de la Luz, in a new summer brochure.

Costa de la Luz, characterised by sandy beaches, traditional villages and white washed towns, also caters for surfers and golfers. Flights will be available from Dublin, Cork and Belfast.

The company has an extended programme for the increasingly popular Bulgaria, with flights from Dublin to Varna and Bourgas, and one of the most sought-after destinations — Cyprus — from Dublin as well.

* JWT has promised the “early birds” will catch big deals this summer.

The company is offering breaks from as little as €229 per person, including taxes, off-peak. Their new brochure has a choice of holidays to popular destinations, from Greece and Italy to the Balearics and Canary Islands.

Offering an array of holidays to young and lively destinations, family resorts and romantic havens, JWT Holidays has set a booking deadline of January 29 for the best deals.

JWT say they won’t be beaten in price for an identical holiday offered by other operators. The company flies to a range of destinations from Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Knock and Kerry Airports.

Bookings can be made online at www.jwtholidays.ie, by telephone on 1850 453545, at Falcon Travel Shops or any local travel agent.

Those thirsting after summer stays in Orlando have a choice of a week with flights and accommodation, starting from €489, or a special family offer of €1,795 for a week with accommodation in a private villa (with pool).

That’s for two adults and two children including flights.
