More choice of ski slopes

IT’S all go for Topflight, one of the largest wholly-owned Irish tour operators.

Weeks after the introduction of some new destinations and features in its winter sun packages, the company has weighed in with a hefty ski brochure.

Resorts such as Seefeld, Pillersee, Dorfgastein, St Wolfgang and Finkenberg have been added to the Austrian portfolio, as have Val di Fassa in Italy and Vail in the US.

Norway is a new destination this winter and Topflight offers Lillehammer and Oslo.

There will be a new flight to Bulgaria from Cork as well as Dublin, and the resorts of Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets feature. Refreshingly honest at a recent launch in Cork, a company spokesperson did emphasise, though, that the standard of accommodation and food in Bulgarian packages do not yet match the more traditional resorts elsewhere.
