Norway in a nutshell

PROJECT Travel has teamed up with Scandinavian Airlines to offer a special five-night Norwegian break from €769 per person sharing — three nights in Oslo and two in Bergen plus the special ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ journey between the two.

Norway in a Nutshell is based on transport by train, bus and boat, all in one ticket. Clients should experience one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world on the Bergen Railway, followed by the breath-taking Flam Railway. The 20km route from the mountain station of Myrdal down to Flam deep in the fjord takes around one hour. On the way, there are views of some of the most magnificent mountain scenery in Norway, including the thundering waterfall at Kjosfossen.

Disembarking at Gudvangen, travellers continue further by coach up the spectacular bends of Stalheimskleiva, Northern Europe’s steepest stretch of road, to the panoramic view from the Stalheim Hotel and on to Voss from where you continue your train journey to Bergen.
