US comedian Rosie O’Donnell, who has been outspoken against the policies of President Donald Trump, has confirmed that she and her 12-year-old daughter moved to Dublin two months ago.

She had hinted at the move in recent weeks on social media, sharing photos from the area. In a lengthy video posted to her TikTok account, she said Irish people have been “so welcoming” since she moved in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires and Trump’s inauguration.
