I’m usually up at 5.45am midweek and I try to be relatively consistent with that at the weekends. My home base is in Blackrock, Cork, but I’m lucky enough to have a small house in Glengarriff, West Cork. When I’m there, I allow myself to sleep in a bit — it’s hard not to do so with the peace and quiet there. Glengarriff is one of my favourite places in the world, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to go there so often. It’s such a wonderful part of the country with miles of walks along the coastline and forests to explore.
