It’s that time of the year when we are being bombarded with back-to-school messages. The panic is on to make sure children are well-prepared for their return to the classrooms. 

That’s all very well, but what about parents? Many people will have taken annual leave during the summer leaving very little wiggle room when the email comes in from school saying your child is finishing at noon for the first two weeks.
