RTÉ broadcaster Bryan Dobson announces plans to retire after '37 fantastic years'

Dobson has presented all of RTÉ's flagship news programmes across television and radio

Bryan Dobson on his last day presenting the RTE Six One News in 2017. He will retire in the spring.

RTÉ News presenter Bryan Dobson has announced that he will retire from the broadcaster at the end of April this year. 

Dobson, who currently presents RTÉ News at One with Bryan Dobson on RTÉ Radio 1, has presented all of RTÉ's flagship news programmes across television and radio over the past 37 years as well as anchoring RTÉ's television coverage of elections, and special state events.
