Areas like Glanmire, Midleton, another other parts of East Cork were hit by extreme flooding during recent heavy rainfall. In the midst of the chaos, many local people and businesses as well as emergency services staff went above and beyond to help their communities.

We want to hear stories of the heroes you met or heard about who assisted those impacted by flooding, whether it was feeding volunteers or rowing people to safety.
