Sinead Kennedy will be Belgium-bound after she welcomes her second bundle of joy later this year.
The Today Show presenter has revealed that while she will give birth to her baby at home, she and her daughter Indie will travel to Brussels in the new year to be with husband Conor Kirwan.
The temporary move just makes sense for their family, Kennedy explained to RSVP.
"It means that Conor is not flying over and back, we're not exhausted and we can have proper family quality time together," she said.
Kennedy had gone to Brussels as a new mother after giving birth to her first child, Indie, who is now two years old.
The Ballincollig native won't be sacrificing her traditional Cork Christmas though.
The festive season will be spent at home with family and friends and "we wouldn’t have it any other way".
Kennedy will be stepping away from her hosting duties on the Today Show in just a couple of weeks as she heads on maternity leave.
The break ahead of her winter due date will be welcome as Kennedy has been kept on her toes looking after a toddler while pregnant.
A second pregnancy is always a different experience but since Kennedy had Indie in the height of covid-19, this is a very different journey for the couple.

"It was a very unusual experience, but because it was my first I had nothing to compare it to. All I knew was that Conor wasn’t there and even if he was, he wasn’t going to be in a position to be with me," the 40-year-old explained.
"This time around it has been a lovely experience for us both that he can be at the various scans."
Despite the uncertainty and stress of going through pregnancy during the pandemic, in some ways, it was more chilled than this pregnancy.
"The second time around is still very exciting, but you have a smally to look after. It’s a time where you could do with sitting on your backside and chilling but you don’t have that opportunity."
But knowing how joyful it is to welcome your baby into the world, she is even more excited this time around.

"Now that I know, it is the most wonderful thing in the world and I feel so lucky to be here again."
Speaking to the shortly after having Indie, Kennedy said that her child changed her whole perspective on life.
"The small stuff that used to worry me, things that kept me awake prior to having her, doesn't anymore," the RTÉ star said.
"I know it probably sounds boring, but it's just a glorious thing to be able to spend time with her."
The couple has chosen to keep the baby's sex a surprise just as they did with their first.
They already have a name picked out if Indie gets a baby brother but a girl's name hasn't been chosen just yet.
Boy or girl, they are just hoping for a happy, healthy baby and are over the moon to have a new member joining their family.
