Brew for BUMBLEance returns on Wednesday, March 11, and people in communities, workplaces, coffee shops, and schools all over Ireland are being asked to put the kettle on for a good cause.

Signing up is simple. Visit bumbleance.com to register for a free fundraising pack with branded materials, plus a personalised fundraising page to collect donations and update supporters. Then invite your family, colleagues, and friends to have a cuppa and raise vital funds to support suitable transportation for sick children.

Pregnancy skincare

Women’s skincare needs change in pregnancy. Yet, women are advised to be cautious and avoid most skincare products during pregnancy and in the early stages of motherhood.

The Irish entrepreneur and mum of two Sara Stokes has partnered with consultant dermatologist Professor Caitríona Ryan and women’s health GP Dr Raj Arora to develop a skincare range for these women. SKN TO SKN is designed for hormonally sensitive skin, and its products can be used from pre-conception through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and the postpartum period.

The products have been clinically tested on women to address concerns such as acne, pigmentation, sensitivity, and dryness without relying on ingredients that are typically restricted during pregnancy, such as retinoids or harsh acids.

The brand has two products: A multi-tasking face serum (€45) that helps smooth the appearance of fine lines, while calming breakouts commonly triggered by hormonal fluctuations, and the Sleep Cheat Night Cream (€38), which works overnight to repair the skin barrier and restore comfort, softness, and resilience.

Antibacterial baby wear

This sleepsuit from gooseygoo.ie is part of a range of gentle, breathable, and naturally antibacterial clothing designed for babies with sensitive skin.

Dubliner Seán Fox founded the company with his partner, Clodagh, in response to their two-year-old daughter Eabha’s severe eczema.

The family struggled to afford the bamboo clothing that would keep Eabha’s skin cool and soothe, rather than aggravate, her condition. So Fox went online and found suppliers of organic bamboo fabric, got some prints designed and manufactured, and now sells a range of affordable hypoallergenic baby clothing.

This particular sleepsuit costs €17.50 and comes in sizes ranging from newborn to 18 months.

Disneyland trip

A visit to Disneyland is a dream come true for many children. AIB Visa customers can make that dream a reality for their family by using their AIB Visa debit or credit card and entering an online draw at aib.ie/visapromotion.

All they have to do is register online, answer the World of Frozen question correctly, and then use their AIB Visa card at any time before March 31. They will then be in with a chance to win a trip to Disneyland Paris, a trip to a Disney Theatre Production in London, or a visit to the Disney Store on Dublin’s Grafton Street.
