Tots to Teens: Families set to have a wild time in Killarney

Molly and Hannah Ferris, enjoying the fun at the Wander Wild Festival Kids Zone at the Festival basecamp at the Church of Ireland Killarney on Sunday.

The Wander Wild Festival, which takes place in Killarney National Park from March 22 to 24, offers a programme of fun-filled activities for the whole family.

Children will be especially spoiled for choice. They’ll be invited to walk in the deep dark woods in search of the Gruffalo, solving clues and playing games as they try to find this mythical creature. They will also be yoga classes that combine music, movement and mindfulness. A special forest school will be set up for families where they will gather under trees, play nature games and learn crafts together. There will also be digital treasure hunts around Ross Island, music, art and drama workshops, magic street shows, drum circles, and more.
