Terri Brannigan, from Bray, Co Wicklow, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when she was 15. Her initial symptoms were gastric issues, like diarrhoea and significant pain.

“Within 20 minutes of eating anything, I was in terrible pain and having to run to the loo every five minutes, until whatever it was was out of my system.”
