The jeans

In 2026, we’re moving away from clean girl aesthetics and towards taking up space, from makeup to fashion. Fitting, therefore, that the wide-leg jean is back in a big way. We love this mid-rise black denim variety from Penneys, €18.
The skincare

Despite stormy weather, Pippa O’Connor drew a full house last week as she launched a new skincare line, Dream Glow. Poco Beauty — which has become a staple in many Irish women’s makeup bags in just two years — is now fully stepping into the skincare space with K-Beauty-inspired products and formulations, from hydrogel under-eye masks to ice rollers.
The stand out for us? The gel toning pads. While most are exfoliating and can feel stripping, these are packed with collagen, niacinamide, peptides, glycerin and mushroom extract, and are designed to comfort and nourish while promoting an even tone and reducing the appearance of texture.
The cookies

Perfect timing for anyone planning a sweet surprise for their valentine today. SOS Cookies has just landed in Cork’s Mahon Point. To celebrate, the bakery is offering a limited-edition Cork exclusive — The Rebel Cookie — with the chance to win a dozen cookies every month for a whole year.
The farm-to-fork supper club

Dublin’s only working urban farm, Airfield Estate in Dundrum, is launching an exciting new Seasonal Supper Club on March 14. Guests will have the chance to enjoy after-hours dining in Overend’s Kitchen, showcasing the best ingredients produced across Airfield Estate’s farm, dairy, and vegetable gardens.
Each event will feature a three-course menu led by what the land is producing at that moment. It costs €80 per person, including a welcome drink, three-course menu, with optional wine and cheese pairings available. Booking is essential; tickets are limited and available only via Eventbrite.
The book

Her novels Breaking Point and In Her Shoes were bestsellers. Now, author Edel Coffey is back with her third book, In Glass Houses. Launching officially in Dublin’s Hodges Figgis this week, her latest thriller is set amidst the power and privilege of wealthy New York society, and centres on protagonist Eddie and the case that destroyed her journalism career. Expect another book club favourite.
The jazz dinner

The Metropole Hotel is hosting a Jazz and Dine evening with live music and a tempting menu that draws on the Deep South, the birthplace of jazz.
Home to the Cork Jazz Festival, you’ll groove to the sound of Niall Marron while tucking into a menu with dishes that include Roaring Water Bay oysters served Louisiana style, smoky Cajun barbecued brisket, and New Orleans beignets. Advance booking is essential — tickets are available through Eventbrite.
The nail fix

The 14 Day Mani turns its attention to healthy nails with its latest launch, Gel Break, designed to provide a restorative pause between gel manicures.
It helps repair, strengthen, and nourish for visibly healthier results, with the bonus of a radiant, glossy shine. €17.
