The activewear
In recent years, F&F at Tesco has become one of our go-to destinations for affordable, stylish wardrobe staples — and its latest innovation, the ULTRAMOVE range, looks set to earn a permanent place in our gym drawer too. The supermarket says the range uses materials found in premium sports labels without the hefty price tag. Our favourite? The ULTRAMOVE Zip Front Jacket. Designed with four-way stretch, flattering contoured seams, a high neckline, zip pockets and thumbholes at the cuffs, it’s a dead ringer for lululemon’s Define jacket — for less than half the price. Jacket, €41, and high-waisted leggings, €20.
The socks
How cute are these Snoopy ‘Love Is’ socks from Next? Priced at €17.50 for a pack of three, they would be a delightful edition to any Valentine’s Day hamper.
The candle
Voya has launched a new limited edition Sea Salt and Cypress luxury scented candle. Capturing the wild freshness of Ireland’s rugged coastline, expect crisp sea salt, and a hint of marine air with the softness of water lily on a level base of cedarwood and amber.
Crafted from natural soybean wax and cotton/linen wicks, the candle burns for up to 30 hours, evoking a sense of calm and grounding. €39.
The spirit
Glendalough Distillery’s Rose Gin began as something deeply personal. Created by head distiller Ciaran Rooney to honour his mother, Rose, at his younger brother’s wedding, roses from her own garden were vapour-distilled alongside wild roses and botanicals foraged from the Wicklow mountains surrounding the distillery.
Today, the gin is further infused with roses post-distillation, deepening the flavour and lending the spirit its naturally soft pink hue. Aromatic and romantic, it feels destined for many more meaningful moments. For a refreshing spritz, try serving with elderflower cordial, prosecco, and soda water. It costs €45.
The new opening
As the Ritual’s Cork expansion continues, the brand is opening a brand new store in Wilton Shopping Centre in March.
Expect the trademark luxury bath, body, and home products for self-care and mindfulness.
The whiskey experience
This Six Nations season, The Mint Bar at The College Green Hotel Dublin is tempting guests and whiskey enthusiasts with a clever Six Nations Whiskey Flight between February 1 and March 31.
The exclusive tasting experience features six distinctive whiskies inspired by the six countries competing in the championship, accompanied by a tasting booklet with flavour notes, distillery heritage, and insights into each nation’s whiskey identity. In addition, each Six Nations match will be screened in the Mint Bar and open earlier to accommodate the 2pm kick-offs. €35 per person or €60 for two.
The scarf
Woven with 100% premium lambswool, this pink and orange scarf, straight from Foxford’s Mayo mill, offers warmth, durability, and seamless style. It costs €30.95.
