The last weekend in November, 28-30, a series of events and fundraisers will take place throughout West Cork under the banner ‘West Cork For Gaza’, with the aim of raising as much funds as possible for the people of Palestine.
One such event is ‘Palooza for Palestine,’ a full-day fundraiser at DeBarra’s on the Sunday, from 12 noon to 11pm.
The event will see a range of performances from musicians, authors, comedians and activists, including Mick Flannery, Susan O’Neill, David Doherty, Sinéad Quinlan, Louise O’Neill, and Maeve Higgins.
