Do you ever wish you could just, well, scream?! We know the feeling! Why not join a group of women to scream at the sea on Garrylucas beach with holistic practitioner Ciara McDonnell? Meet on a Saturday morning at sunrise around a beachside fire and set your intention with a guided meditation before walking to the sea and joining others as you release your unspoken emotions to the water. Once that’s out of your system, you can return to the fire for a cosy cup of tea and a sweet treat before closing the circle. Sounds pretty cathartic to us.Â

This time of year can be a challenge for runners, joggers and walkers — low light levels and darkness can make it difficult for you to see where you’re going but also make it hard for others to see you. Avid runner and father of three, Padraic George from Co Carlow, has come up with some brilliant solutions with his business Bodylite. The innovative Bodylite range includes the NightVision Belt (€19.99) which has an integrated LED strip for powerful illumination as well as the NightVision Vest (€19.99) with straps that go over the shoulders and around the waist and provide 360-Degree visibility. The original NightVision light (€39.99) is perfect for cyclists too and there are lots of other brilliant garments and accessories available.

Seeing really was believing when we recently witnessed the impact of IVA NATURA’s Anti Acne Cream Silky Cream (€16.95) on our teenage product tester whose acne spots went from inflamed, sore, and red to much less angry and more soothed and smoothed. The product was used after a course of antibiotic cream but seemed to have an even greater impact. While all cases are different, and you should refer to an expert, we were impressed with this affordable organic, vegan, sustainable and cruelty-free brand from Turkey. The IVA NATURA range includes great value products for the hair and skin while supporting female-led farming co-ops and female entrepreneurs. We love the Revitalising Night Cream (€14.95), Pore Shrinking Black Face Mask (€16.95), and Relaxing Lavender Shower Gel (€9.95) which elevates an everyday moment with lavender, rose and thyme.
