Trend of the week: Winter florals to get excited about

Inspiration

Winter florals don’t get a lot of press. Hiding in the shadow of spring’s spotlight, their’s is more of a discrete presence.

That’s precisely what makes them so exciting.

This season sees deliciously dark hues and politely chaotic blooms fraternising with midi hems – everywhere.

Fluted, asymmetric or frilled - the common denominator is length; enough to show a hint of boot or a ripple of fabric while walking. Paired with a Victorian collar and a long sleeve and we’ve got a delicious affair to remember.

Style Notes

WEATHER-PROOF

Wrap up with a polo neck, leather boots and tailored wool Crombie.

OFF-DUTY

Dress down with a live-in leather jacket and box-fresh trainers.

ON THE TOWN

Step out in a voluminous faux fur, strappy sandals and killer clutch.

CATWALK

Be bold with bright knee-high glove boots and a prodigious puffer jacket.
