On the red carpet: Felicity Jones, Anya Taylor-Joy, Laura Carmichael, Katy Perry

Felicity Jones wore Olivier Theyskens to the Three Empire Awards in London.

The sheer polka-dot overlay is very cute but I’m not sure about the high buttoned-neckline on such an irreverent design.

Anya Taylor-Joy looked stunning in Miu Miu at the same event. I love how the sequins vary in size, they give the whole wrap-dress a Klimt-like dazzle. The Italian brand often does chunky sandals but I think a more delicate pair would better suit this look.

Laura Carmichael was pretty in pink on the Three Empire Awards red carpet. This outfit is by Erdem and beautifully detailed, though a slightly lower waist-flare might be more flattering. The original design had a high white collar she did well to ditch.

Katy Perry looked a bit of an opera diva at the Human Rights Campaign’s gala dinner in LA. This Rasario dress has a heavily ruffled bust and halter neckline and continues the run of sophisticated looks we’ve seen from the singer lately.
