Rachel McAdams wore a chic black jumpsuit by Noam Hanoch to the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York.

There is something unflattering about the proportions of the high-waisted trouser section. Perhaps it just isn’t an exact fit.

Julianne Moore chose a festive Saint Laurent dress in gold, silver, and steel mesh at the same event. Tiny sequins and beads enhance the metallic shimmer. Her platform sandals are also by the French brand.

Helen Mirren attended the awards in a Dolce & Gabbana dress and suede pumps. This fit-and-flare number is from the brand’s mother-themed Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. Mirren previously wore this dress to see Verdi’s Otello at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House.

Emmy Rossum wore a brocade minidress by Simone Rocha to the Gotham Film Awards. The dress is part of the Irish designer’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. Black ‘So Kate’ Christian Louboutins finished the look.
