Ecuadorian designer Gabriela Cadena dressed Eva Longoria for the Inside Out premiere at Cannes this week, but the full-length trompe l’oeil panel on this gown is weird and distracting.

Eva’s petite beauty is further obscured by huge eye-liner wings and heavy bronzer.

Jennifer Lopez can usually work a sheer-panelled dress with the best of them but this number by Charbel Zoe Couture would make Amal Clooney look tacky. The sequin strips on the skirt are especially nasty. On the plus side, her hair and makeup are flawless.

Taylor Swift went full-on Seventies glam for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in a white Balmain jumpsuit with sparkles and cut-outs. She accessorised with Effy Jewelry hoop earrings and a Djula bangle. The trouser hems hide her Brian Atwood sandals.

Rita Ora wore a sun-studded Fausto Puglisi gown to the Billboard Music Awards. The sides have hip-high slits, which must have made it tough to sit in. Rita finished the look with Veronica Lake waves and her favourite MAC Ruby Woo lipstick.
