On the red carpet: Rihanna, Lucy Liu, Dakota Johnson, Kerry Washington

Rihanna wore a bronze leather Fendi gown and a fabulous full-length fur to the opening of the brand’s New York flagship. 

A Fendi ‘3baguette’ bag, Manolo Blahnik sandals and a white pedicure finished the look.

Lucy Liu’s Zuhair Murad Couture was among the most glamorous looks at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversay Celebration. There is a lot going on here, embroidery wise, and I think the conflicting sequin patterns somewhat overwhelm her petite frame.

Dakota Johnson dazzled in Sonia Rykiel at the SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration. Horizontal stripes aren’t a great look to begin with but sequins make them worse! The fluffy jacket is a bit tacky but her Gianvito Rossi sandals are beautiful.

Kerry Washington wore this Adam Lippes tuxedo-jacket dress to the SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration. It’s not a new look but seldom done in white with oversize buttons. The effect is very chic and smart. The Scandal star wore Jimmy Choo pumps.
