On the red carpet: Elie Saab Couture, J-Lo, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Jessica Chastain

Elie Saab Couture is usually red-carpet gold so who knows how Paz Vega got it so wrong at the Warner Bros and InStyle Golden Globes after-party?

Wayward cleavage, weird hair, slits up-to-here and down-to-there...this look is a full-on fashion disaster.

This outfit reminds me so much of J-Lo’s On the Six, Diddy-loving heyday. The all-white ensemble with fur and bronzed abs are familiar but subtle draping hints at her upgraded style. The top and skirt are by London designer Amanda Wakeley.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum lit up the Golden Globes red carpet in lemon Carolina Herrera. The folds of the strapless bodice and the sweeping train of the skirt make it look like a lot of fun to wear. This was not the biggest fashion risk of the night but it is one that TV viewers cooed over.

Jessica Chastain’s Atelier Versace halter was easily my favourite Golden Globes gown. Luminous chocolate looks amazing against her fair skin and Jessica Rabbit-waves. Her makeup is beautiful, especially the feline flicks of eyeliner and smoky shadow.
