On the red carpet: Carmen Ejogo at the premiere of Selma
The British actress chose the Dame’s signature corseted cocktail dress in flower-dappled tangerine. Her low-heeled Louboutins are adorable, especially the gold toe-bows.
I am sure this dress looked beautiful in designer Ali Younes sketches. It is all very pretty but there is something about the horizontal bi-colour design and camisole that does not flatter Eva Longoria’s petite figure, from any angle. She was right to keep her hair simple though.
Anna Kendrick is understated but elegant in Oscar de la Renta at a photocall for Into the Woods in London. The actress kept the festive crimson belt that cinched this burgundy coat on the catwalk but swapped the model’s t-strap pumps for Salvatore Ferragamo heels.
This is another bold outfit choice by Rita Ora. The velvet playsuit is by Russian designer Ulyana Sergeenko. Rita copied the look from the catwalk for the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York. I would like this look more if she’d softened her hair and make-up.
