This week on the red carpet

If Dolce & Gabbana does not scrap next season’s ad campaign in favour of an at-home shoot with the McConaughey clan someone will have missed a trick.

This week on the red carpet

The actor, wife Camila Alves and children Levi, Livingston and Vida. looked a Sicilian dream in the brand at the unveiling of his star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Julianne Moore revisits the Boogie Nights-era glamour in this retro-inspired gown by Tom Ford. Swishy, sparkly black with a plunging neckline is a great way to get noticed among the large female cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 at the film’s LA premiere. Her clutch and heels are also byFord.

Jennifer Lawrence looks spectacular at the same event in yet another white dress from Christian Dior Couture. A sculpted skirt, clutch and midi heels are nothing new for the actress, but given that she won an Oscar in a similar look, you couldn’t blame her for thinking it lucky.

Nicole Scherzinger sparkles in Ermanno Scervino at the 5th Global Gift Gala in London. Her sandals are Carven. The outfit is pretty enough but the wet-look hairstyle and dark lipstick don’t do her pretty face any favours. I also think a gala calls for something more glamorous than a cocktail dress.
