On the red carpet: Kim Kardashian, Solange Knowles, Rita Ora, Salma Hayek
Sapphire is a great colour for her but it’s especially obvious that she needs a bigger size. I hope she didn’t sit down all night. Her Tom Ford sandals are gorgeous.
I am baffled by Solange Knowles’ outfit choice for Melbourne Derby. Why a tall, slender woman would choose clothes that make her look short and chunky is beyond me. Aussie designer Josh Goot put many cool, flatteringly-cut dresses in the same collection as this top and skirt.
Rita Ora also experimented with volume to turn on the Christmas lights at Westfield London. Long culottes and a bandeau top from Whistles look like a modern take on a prom dress, but I doubt even her endorsement will make this challenging look a best-seller for the brand.
Reasons one might want to trade lives with Salma Hayek abound but I’m ranking “marriage resulting in clothes from every Kering-owned brand on tap forever” first. Hers was the most goddess-like of all the Gucci gowns at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
