On the red carpet: Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning showcased her brand new brunette hair at the premiere for The Boxtrolls in California. 

She also opted for a more tailored look in a piece by Oscar de la Renta. Unfortunately it’s too ill fitting to be flattering.

The hat, the body stocking, the knee-length skirt — is Molly Ringwald reliving her 80s hey days on the red carpet? She turned out at the opening of The Boxtrolls in an outfit that could have come from the Pretty in Pink premiere.

It’s austere yes, but wow does it work. From the sleek pulled back hair to the contoured cheeks and the high neck lace, Rosamund Pike looks quite the lady on the red carpet for the premiere of What We Did On Our Holiday.

The men in kilts thing never really did it for us, but somehow, and we can’t quite make out why, David Tennant makes it work. Maybe it’s the cheeky grin, but you just know the former Doctor Who is game for a laugh.
