We’re not quite sure what the usually stylish Taylor Swift was thinking. 

She arrived at the Video Music Awards in a long-sleeved leotard. We love the designer — Mary Katrantzou — but where’s the skirt?

Beyoncé was a show stopper at the VMAs in a figure-hugging black lace dress by Nicolas Jebran. It was high-necked, long-sleeved and full-length, yet it was the sexiest look on the red carpet. Younger stars, take note.
