Street trend: Lisa Meldrum
Proprietor of Blush Boutique
Douglas, Co Cork
Eva Kayan leather look jacket (€197), Leidrio skinny jeans (€150) and Leidro sequin t-shirt (€90) from Blush Boutique, Douglas Village Shopping Centre; Marc O’Polo ankle boots (€190) from Pure, Douglas Village Shopping Centre and a Louis Vuitton scarf which was a present from my husband.
Smart, dressy and functional.
Both are equally important. I adore clothes, but I’m a busy mother and work full-time so clothing has to be practical for a busy day but be equally stylish.
Pinterest is my newest find. It’s amazing, you could spend the day browsing through it. I think everybody would have to admit there is nothing like flicking through a big glossy magazine and, of course when I am abroad buying for Blush I just love to watch people.
Blush of course — if you’re looking for smart, casual or dressy, you will not be disappointed. I also love Monreal in the Winthrop Arcade and Lady Lydia’s in Kanturk, Co Cork.
That would have to be Salingers on French Church Street for style advice and clothes with a difference.
It’s stylish enough for work, bang on trend for SS14; comfortable enough for running around. The separates also work well individually and with the rest of my wardrobe.
