On the red carpet: America Ferrera

Could this really be Ugly Betty? America Ferrera was radiant at the Hollywood premiere of her new film Cesar Chavez.

She wore a pale yellow strapless Sportsmax dress that perfectly accentuated her new, super-slim figure. The design showed off the actress’ bright orange pumps.

Rosario Dawson turned out at the same premiere in LA’s Chinese Theatre in a dress from Antonio Berardi. The sleek, blush gown had a v-shaped feature lace panel. Wisely, she kept her styling simple, with an Edie Parker ‘Edie’ clutch and wavy, natural hair and neutral make up. Stunning.

Julia Louis Dreyfus has played the role of the vice president so well in Veep, it’s as though we’ve completely forgotten she was once Elaine in Seinfeld. Thankfully her style — and her hair — has improved dramatically since those sitcom days too. We love her Ports 1961 floral, figure-hugging dress.

What other 67-year-old could pull off this look? Designer Diane Von Furstenberg turned out at the Broadway opening night of Mothers and Sons in New York in towering heels and head-to-toe skin-tight leather. The fur gilet, tousled hair and aviator shades complete the rebellious look.
