Antonio Lopez was a fashion illustrator in New York during disco’s heyday. He inked “Antonio’s Girls,” including Jerry Hall, Marisa Berenson and Pat Cleveland, for Vogue, Harper’s and Elle. MAC pays tribute to the artist, who died in 1987, with a new make-up collection.
Illustrations of his muses feature on six eye shadow palettes, €46, three lip palettes, €36, and two face compacts, €40. The collection offers vibrant shades of fuchsias, reds, purples and blues, as well as warm neutrals for the face. Snap them up online from the 5 September or at counters from 12 September.
