Sean Penn to premiere new movie at Cannes film festival

Films by Sean Penn, Mia Hansen-Love and Charlotte Gainsbourg are among the line-up for the Cannes Film Festival, it has been announced.

Mystic River star Penn, whose previous directing efforts include Into The Wild, The Pledge and The Crossing Guard, will unveil the big screen adaptation of the book by Jennifer Vogel, about a father who lives a double life as a counterfeiter, bank robber and conman in order to provide for his daughter.
