Frontline workers will be honoured on tomorrow night's Late Late Show.

Former Irish rugby captain Brian O'Driscoll and comedian Dara Ó Briain will be on Skype talking to Ryan Tubridy as well as the cast of Mrs Brown's Boys.

Music will be performed by Hozier who will launch an ISPCC appeal.

Viewers will be asked to join in with a round of applause to thank people trying to stop the spread of Covid-19.

A similar round of applause dedicated to healthcare workers will take place in the Dáil this evening.

Earlier this month, similar applause for those on the frontlines have been seen across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Israel and other countries.
