SM Entertainment has confirmed the EXO group member Kyungsoo, known as D.O, has voluntarily enlisted for his mandatory Korean military service as an active duty soldier.

SM Entertainment has confirmed the EXO group member Kyungsoo, known as D.O, has voluntarily enlisted for his mandatory Korean military service as an active duty soldier.

The band have amassed hundreds of millions of views on YouTube

Fans have expressed their shock and best wishes for the 26-year-old, who is the second member of the band to enlist.

According to Soomoi, the current military law means D.O could defer his military enlistment for a total of five times, so long as he enlists by 2021.

However, the star expressed his will to complete his military duties as soon as possible.

In a fan-translated message, D.O. thanked his supporters and pledged to be careful and come back safely.
