Selena Gomez has opened up about social media and the impact it has had and is having on young people and her generation.

The actress was speaking at a Cannes Film Festival press event in France where she is there to promote her latest film by Jim Jarmusch "The Dead Don't Die," which also stars Bill Murray, Adam Driver and Tilda Swinton.
