A good haul for the Irish at the Golden Globe nominations
Nominations for the 74th Golden Globes Awards have been announced and there are four Irish nominees in the mix.
Irish film Sing Street has been nominated for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, Colin Farrell is up for Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical, Ruth Negga has been nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama and finally Caitriona Balfe is up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.
One winner has already been announced: Meryl Streep will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, given to a talented individual who has made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.
