The Meath native will be joined by BBC journalist Michelle Ackerley.

Angela Scanlon has been announced as the new host of BBC’s The One Show.

The current presenter, Alex Jones is expected to take maternity leave from The One Show in January as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Charlie Thomson.
