This kid’s letter to Ghostbuster Leslie Jones will melt your heart

Since the release of Ghostbusters last month, actress Leslie Jones found herself at the receiving end of hateful trolls on Twitter.

So much so, she left the social media platform for a short period.

I leave Twitter tonight with tears and a very sad heart.All this cause I did a movie.You can hate the movie but the shit I got today...wrong

This sparked the hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ and the reason 8-9 year old Julian decided to write this adorable fan letter.

Leslie has since returned to Twitter where she is hillariously covering every second of the Olympics (she's even been invited to Rio due to her infectious enthusiasm).

Although took time out to post this picture of the handwritten note she recived and it melted our hearts.

"Forget what they say on the internet," he wrote amongst other cute things.

"They're jost jelous [sic]. You're a Ghost-buster and they're not."
