Tommy Bowe reveals why he won't be having babies anytime soon

Tommy Bowe has revealed he’s in no rush to start a family just yet.

The rugby star wed former Miss Wales Lucy Whitehouse last summer, but has admitted the couple aren’t interested in having children just yet.

“I do notice that it seems all of my teammates , it seems like we need a crèche in the training facility at the minute, it’s kids galore,” he said.

“It’s something we’ll talk about in the future. We’ve got a dog at the minute which is more than enough chaos for us,” he explained.

The loved-up couple are celebrating their first wedding anniversary next month and will be toasting their marriage in the sun.

Tommy's ongoing injury means that he's been ruled out of Ireland's summer tour in South Africa which he descirbed as very fustrating.

“On the plus side, it means I won’t be in South Africa for our wedding anniversary so I suppose Lucy might be happy with that. It gives us the opportunity to get away for a few weeks and enjoy a bit of sunshine before I get myself ready for next season,” he told Independent.ie
