Electric Picnic tickets have sold out - except for…

All tickets for Electric Picnic 2016 have now sold out just nine days after its first line-up announcement.

The capacity for this year's three-day event has been confirmed at 55,000.

However, there are a limited number of tickets available to Three customers.

The phone company has confirmed that its customers will have the chance to purchase the last available tickets to the festival through its dedicated customer rewards programme, 3Plus.

With only 27 acts announced, organisers are promising "a veritable feast of music and activity to announce and tantalise you with over the coming five months".

Stages such as Body &Soul, Other Voices, Trailer Park, Salty Dog, Comedy Stage, Trenchtown, Casa Bacardi and Mindfield are set to return.

Electric Picnic takes place in the grounds of Stradbally Hall on the weekend of September 2-4.
