Danny Dyer thanked his Mom for having sex in his NTA award speech
With awards season in full swing, stars all over the world are busy putting together that perfect red carpet look to complement their emotional acceptance speech.
Firstly they thank the cast and crew, then maybe their spouse/partner and then, God.
Though we are pretty sure this is the first time someone has thanked their parents for having sex in 1977.
Yes, you read that right.
Eastenders actor Danny Dyer scooped up the award for best serial drama performance at last night’s National Television Awards in London, and as he popped up on stage to receive the award, he decided to begin his speech by calling Eastenders a “sublime, depressing programme” and end it with by thanking his mum for “for having a roll in 1977” and convincing him - as you do.
The soap star's mom, Chris Dyer didn’t waste any time jumping on social media to respond to the comment.
"Mummy is proud and the roll around in question was actually 1976," she humorously tweeted.

Silly Danny, got the date wrong.
Dyer beat Corrie’s Alison King, Emmerdale’s Michael Parr, and his EastEnders co-star Rakhee Thakrar to the award.
