Lenny Abrahamson’s Room nominated for Best Picture at Golden Globes
Lenny Abrahamson’s film Room has received three Golden Globe nominations.
The Irish film-maker’s new movie is up for Best Motion Picture, Drama and Best Screenplay while the movie’s lead Brie Larson is up for Best Actress in a Motion Picture in a Drama.

The film has been getting much critical acclaim and has already won Best International Film at British Independent Film awards earlier this week.
Lenny Abrahamson receives Phil Gold Medal of Honorary Patronage
The film faces competition against Carol, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant and Spotlight.
While the Emma O’Donoghue written screenplay will battle it out against Spotlight, The Big Short, The Hateful Eight and Michael Fassbender’s flick Steve Jobs .
The 2016 awards will take place on January 10th in Los Angeles.
