WATCH: Charlie Sheen confirms he is HIV positive
Charlie Sheen has revealed that he is HIV positive in a long-awaited interview with Matt Lauer on American chat show, Today.
“I have to admit that I am in fact HIV positive,” Sheen has said live on air before revealing he was diagnosed about four years ago.

The Two and A Half Men actor then went on to say that he started noticing a number of symptoms, including migraine headaches, before seeking medical attention.
“It’s a hard three letters to absorb,” Sheen said. “It’s a turning point in someone’s life.”

The controversial actor has spent most of the past year out of the spotlight and has not appeared on television since his show Anger Management went off the air in 2014.

Sheen has been married three times and has five children.
His first marriage was to Paula Profit, his high school sweetheart, and his second to former Bond girl Denise Richards.

Denise and Charlie have two daughters together, Sam and Lola. The couple finalised their divorce in November 2006.
In 2008, Charlie got married for the third time, to Brooke Mueller, with whom he has twin sons – Bob and Max.
