The Coronas’ Danny O’Reilly is wanted for arrest in New Zealand
Looks like The Coronas may have to put their upcoming world tour on hold this November, as frontman Danny O’Reilly has revealed that he is a “wanted man” in New Zealand.
Speaking on Spin 1038’s Fully Charged show, Dubliner Danny awkwardly revealed that there is a warrant out for his arrest and it is "proving difficult" for band manager, Jim Lawless to sort out.
“We’ve never played in New Zealand before but when I was like 21 a group of us went over and basically, I’m a wanted man,” he said.
“There is a warrant for my arrest and this is the most rock ‘n’ roll thing that’s ever happened to me, but I am going to say it’s for a speeding ticket so it is not that cool.”

Oh Danny, we wonder what Mary has to say about this?
We have every faith that the band will make their New Zealand leg of the tour, but before they do they have announced that they will be headlining Cork Jazz Festival on October 24, alongside acts such as the Boomtown Rats, Aslan, The Drifters and Gary Numan.
