Meet Kermit the Frog’s new girlfriend, Denise

The Muppets sent our hearts into smithereens a few weeks ago, when they announced the news that Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy have parted ways after 30 years.

"After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship," read the statement at the time.

And today, they’ve just rubbed salt in our wounds by releasing pictures of Kermit casually lunching with his new beau, Denise.

Denise is an marketing executive with ABC and according to reports she has wanted to get her hands on Kermit for a while now.

But how is Miss Piggy taking all of this we hear you ask?

Something tells us, she’ll be just fine.
